Our office has invested in new technology as well as implemented new protocols to keep your visit safe and healthy. They are as follows:

Surgically Clean Air

Surgically Clear Air is a top-of-the-line, thorough, and effective way to maintain the cleanliness of our practice.

Medical and dental facilities around the world are able to help all manner of patients without the risk of cross-contamination, exposure to allergens, or the growth of dangerous microbes. The air does, in fact, become surgically clean.

This system can accomplish this task through a few incredible features:

Six-Stage Filtration and Sterilization

Surgically Clean Air’s purifier use multi-stage air purifying technologies that work together to clean, purify and re-energize the indoor air. The six (6) stage filtration system captures dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), gases, mold, allergens, viruses, odors (like formaldehyde and smoke), bio-aerosols, and many other pollutants that are found in the inside air in workplaces. The negative ion generator makes indoor feel more pure, clean and energized to help combat fatigue. For an air purifier to deliver its benefits throughout the indoor space it needs to move large volumes of air through its filtration system effectively and this one does just that.jade-air-filter-1536x1024

Sound Dampening Design

It might seem like a system with that much processing power would be a real nuisance. However, we are pleased to report that such is not the case with Surgically Clear Air.

It has a noise-canceling design through sound-damping. This allows the unit to operate at no more than approximately 55 dB. This is about the sound level of an average kitchen dishwasher.

No roaring. No need for shouting to be heard over the machine. Surgically Clear Air provides clean air without being a source of stress, anxiety, or sensory overload.

Stress Reduction

In fact, not only is it true that Surgically Clear Air doesn’t increase stress. It actively decreases it. The low levels of sound are just one way in which this happens.

Asthmatic reactions are a common source of anxiety, especially for those with very severe lung difficulties. Eliminating both pollutants and allergens allows anyone with asthma to literally breathe more easily during their appointment.

For those with autism, anxiety, or highly sensitive senses of smell, scents of any sort can be more than just distracting.

Surgically Clean Air means a healthy, stress-free, risk-free breathing environment for everyone involved.

IQAir Dental FlexVac

The Dental Hg FlexVac is an advanced air filtration system that effectively captures and eliminates harmful aerosols that are produced by various dental procedures, including aerosols from drills, abrasion powder and vapors containing trace amounts of mercury.

The suction duct is a flexible tube that is positioned above the patient’s chest area so that it can directly vacuum away these aerosols and vapors before they have a chance to become airborne.Dental-Hg-FlexVac

Hand washing stations

One of the most effective ways to minimize infectious germs is to wash hands thoroughly and often. That is why our office features designated hand washing stations, which are used frequently by both patients and staff to maintain a high standard of hygiene during all visits and procedures.

Enhanced PPE

We also increased frequency of surface disinfection throughout office and in building: building has dedicated “cleaners” who are constantly disinfecting door handles/elevator buttons/etc.

Social distancing to include staff and patients (large office, low volume of patient flow, spaced out appointments virtually eliminates patient to patient interactions)

Please be safe and smart as well while navigating these difficult times. Watch our Safe Dental Office – COVID-19 video to learn more.
